Game Designer/Senior Game Designer

Be responsible for new features, events and content creation, economy management and game balancing. Work collaboratively with other designers and cross-functionally with UX, engineering and producer on the design and implementation of new game features. Lead game design for multi-platform games like Social games, iPhone, Android, PC/ Mac. Design all aspects of game mechanics including entertainment, pacing, user interface of each game and player communication. Hands on experience of 4 to 10 years in designing games and good experience working on F2P games.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work collaboratively with other designers and cross – functionally with UX, engineering and producer on the design and implementation of new game features.
  • Leading game design for multi-platform games like Social games, iPhone, Android, PC/ Mac. Drive prototyping, mechanics, tuning, tutorial, usability, level ramp, story, meta- structure, aesthetics, and creative vision of projects that are assigned to you.
  • Efficient in sketching, drawing, layouts, multiple level designing.
  • Designing all aspects of game mechanics including entertainment, pacing user interface of each game and player communication.
  • Use a metrics- driven approach to game design, provide ample and correct references/guidelines in the document for art and development teams.
  • Create and own all design documentation and deliverable for projects, including game concepts, in-game messaging, marketing communication, game rules.
  • Good knowledge of the mobile gaming market and F2P game design.
  • Experience in establishing design standards and related processes.
  • Be adept at Level Design for different types of games as per the requirement.
  • Design missions and prototype different game play variations during production, play test them and take feed backs.
  • Constantly play and research other games for with minimal supervision create and update the games design through Concept Proposals, Game Design Documents, and Functional Specifications.
  • Team Player: Ability to communicate, iterate and take design decisions on data and user feedback.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience of 4 to 10 years in designing games.
  • Experience in Live – Ops and Games-as-a-Services.
  • Should be skilled at taking data and transforming it into meaningful designs.
  • Adjust the economy to support new game features, pricing, etc.
  • Should be up to date with game design literature and best practices to continue contributing to the studio level design expertise.
